For example, if you have a supply partner than that controls several publishers, you will need to give them only 1 entry of Publishers since they will want 1 login for all of their publishers. But if you treat each of these sub-publishers as ones you work directly with, then IAB requires you to declare each of them directly in your sellers.json.

When you click to add a new entity or click to edit an existing one, you are presented with many useful options, most of which are optional!
Please remember to click Save after you’re done.
...
Name (required) - of the actual Publisher.
Email - address of the actual Publisher.
Description - any note you like to add about this source.
Serving Macro - custom macro used for this partner.
Seller ID - each partner must have a unique ID. leave empty to automatically choose one, When left empty, it’ll be chosen automatically or fill one manually (but if so, make sure it’s unique!). It’s best not to do this manually, but it’s required if your sellers.json is not controlled by us (as we’ll still need to define the supply chain).
Domain - the company domain of your partner. Note this means the domain tells who and what this company does. Your partner might have many websites , but only one company domain.
* As Domain is only optional (given that not all companies have domains), you can choose not to include this domain in your sellers.json.Seller Type (required) - choose Publisher if this partner owns their own websites/apps, Intermediary if this publisher is just a middleman, and Both if this partner both owns some website/apps but also resells some they don’t own.
Owned and Operated - an internal note that this publisher actually belongs to your own company.
Is Confidential - usually not used, you can declare this partner as an anonymous entity (this means the Domain and Seller Name will be obscured in your sellers.json if we manage it for you).
Include in Sellers.json / Exclude from sellers.json - based on whether you filled Domain or not, this gives you the chance to hide this entire publisher from your sellers.json (in case it’s used for internal testing, etc.).

You will need to provide your tracking URL, mention its usage method, and use any macro we have to offer (e.g., https://your-tracker.com/?url=[AV_URL]&OS=[AV_OS] will track which exact URL and Operating System ads were displayed at). You can also control if you like to apply this tracker all the time or just some of the time.
