Add/Edit SSAI
When you click to add a new source or click to edit an existing one, you are presented with many useful options, most of which optional!
Please remember to click Save after you’re done.
Basic Info
Name (required) - how you wish to call this SSAI.
Description - any note you like to add about this SSAI.
Publisher (required) - choose which of the Publishers to connect this SSAI to.
Publisher Channel (required) - choose which of the Channels of this Publisher to connect this SSAI to.
URL Type - Choose Static (default) in order to manually set the input URL as of today or Dynamic to get the input URL from the player.
Stream Type -Real time Live (default) or VOD (Video on Demand) service.
Stream Format - HLS (default) or Dash.
Template - Web (default) or In App.
Ad Server Response - VAST (default) or VMAP.
Output URL - Read-only output of the generated URL, which can be easily copied.
Monetization
Marker
If you choose Use, supported markers should be present in the source video, while if you choose Ignore the SSAI will insert markers into the video based on provided configuration.
Prefetch
Choose Enable to set a delay between the requested segment and sending of tracking events associated with the segment.
Ads
Ad Break Type - select Pod (default) or Slot, where Slot is a single ad placement and Pod is a multiple ads placement with an ability to restrict each slot inside.
Pre-Roll - choose Enable to allow adding a pre-roll ad before the VOD/live stream starts playing.
Slot
Min Duration - set the minimum pod / slot duration (Sec).
Max Duration - set the maximal pod / slot duration (Sec).
Pod
Min Duration - set the minimum pod / slot duration (Sec).
Max Duration - set the maximal pod / slot duration (Sec).
Number of Ad Slots - set the number of ad slots with this pod.
