Publishers

List of Publishers

List of names of publishers (owners of websites and apps) you work with.

Next to each name is some basic info (depending on what you choose to the left of the search) and the option to edit/archive this partner.

Add/Edit Publisher

When you click to add a new partner or click to edit an existing one, you are presented with many useful options, most of which are optional!

Please remember to click Save after you’re done.

Publisher Info

  1. Publisher Name (required) - how you wish to refer to this partner in their login and in reporting.

  2. Publisher Email - the address of this partner.

  3. Publisher Description - any note you like to mention regarding this partner.

  4. App/Site - If you defined App/Site in advance, you can connect it to this partner.

sellers.json

We automatically add this portion to your sellers.json, which is a required file by IAB to provide transparency regarding who you work with as your traffic sources.

  1. Domain - the company domain of your partner. Note this means the domain tells who and what this company does. Your partner might have many websites but only one company domain.
    * As Domain is only optional (given that not all companies have domains), you can choose not to include this domain in your sellers.json.

  2. Seller Type - choose Publisher if this partner owns their own websites/apps, Intermediary if this publisher is just a middleman, and Both if this partner both owns some website/apps but also resells some they don’t own.
    * Leave blank to automatically choose Publisher.

  3. Seller Name - the full legal company name of your partner. This is declared to your advertisers, so be sure to stick to the correct full name (tip: it’s usually mentioned in the invoice).

  4. Seller ID - each partner must have a unique ID. When left empty, it’ll be chosen automatically or fill one manually (but if so, make sure it’s unique!). It’s best not to do this manually, but it’s required if your sellers.json is not controlled by us (as we’ll still need to define the supply chain).

  5. Is Confidential - usually not used, you can declare this partner as an anonymous entity (this means the Domain and Seller Name will be obscured in your sellers.json if we manage it for you).

Default Business Model

When you create https://aniviewwiki.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/HELP/pages/2280489067 these settings will be used as default (but they can be overridden).

If you define this, please be sure you remember to update it for any changes, or your channels' defaults might not be true.
