List of videos

A list of uploaded video files meant to serve as video content for InStream Studio players.

Next to each video is some info (based on your column selection at the top) and the (far right side) options to Archive or Edit the video.

It’s suggested to connect videos into Playlists and only connect playlists to players instead of individual videos.

You can multi select to perform a bulk action.

Upload a video

Manually

Use this screen to drag and drop or choose one or more video files for a manual upload.

By link

Use this screen to supply external video links.

You can choose whether to automatically upload them or keep using them externally (meaning the billing won’t come from the internal system).

Edit a video

When you click an existing video file or finish uploading a new one, you can change various details but most of them are optional!

Please remember to click Save when done.

Basic Info

General

The following might be reflected to the Ad Sources so should correct and helpful info.

  1. Title (required) - the title of the video.

  2. Description - the description of the video.

  3. Category IAB - the video’s category from the list made by IAB.

  4. Category - the video’s one or more categories from a pre-defined manual list.

  5. Tag - the video’s one or more tags from a pre-defined manual list.

  6. Creation date - a read-only reflection of when the video was uploaded.

  7. Last modified date - a read-only reflection of when the video’s details were last modified.

  8. Creation method - a read-only reflection of how the video was uploaded.

  9. ClickThrough Url - which link should the video point to when clicked.

Poster image

Upload a large representative image of the video.

Thumbnail image

Upload a small representative image of the video.

Embed Code

Choose player tag in this dropdown to receive embed code.

Associated Playlists

Remove the video from playlists it’s currently included in.

It can be done in bulk (Disassociate All) or by using the far right side Remove from playlist button.

Associated Player Tags

See which player tags are set to use this video.

Closed Captions

Upload closed captions to the video.

When you click Upload Closed Captions, you can choose a language and upload a VTT file.
